My sisters and brothers,
As you can tell, the work on the Stained Glass Windows
Restoration project continues on, the problem is that the
contribution towards the project isn’t. As the work is
being done step by step they bill us. Well, the bills are
coming in quicker than the contributions. At this point
it is not a major concern, but it would be nice to put the
financial aspect of this project behind us for good. So,
if you have been thinking about, considering making a
contribution to the windows now would be a great time.
Another upcoming project will be the sprucing up for
the rectory. Its been many years since the living area
for the priest has had any attention. No, I’m not
thinking about anything too radical, maybe some paint,
carpet and furniture that actually go together. For many
years the furniture for the rectory has been hand me downs
from our facilities or from parishioners. Hence, we have
furniture of every size and color. I’m looking and hoping
to begin this work early this summer if collections
allow. Time will tell.
